Wiper rubber is very important, using high quality wiper rubber, the wiping performance will be very good. But there is various kinds of wiper rubber, do you really know how to choose it? Usually we mention NR, CR & EPDM, is there any difference?

NR is nature rubber

CR is Neoprene, a kind of synthetic rubber compound

EPDM material is also called ethylene-propylene rubber. It is made of ethylene and propylene as the main raw materials. It has outstanding resistance to aging, electrical insulation and ozone resistance.

If your country is very cold in winter, you should choose NR. If the country is very hot in summer, CR & EPDM is a good choise, CR & EPDM are well resistant to ozone and high temperature.
